A couple of weeks ago I took Nathan and Makalya to see a Revolutionary War re-enactment. This is the second one I have been to and the first for them. The weather was excellent and the Old Wethersfield location was a great for it. I was really impressed by how much Nathan knew about the war. He was rattling off facts about the war that I didn’t know, which wasn’t difficult. He really liked talking to the actors who were validating what he was telling me. I took a bunch of photos, some of which can be seen here, I really like taking the grand kids to these types of things. It’s important for us to remember where we came from and what the cost was.
